Minnie's vet care - all donations tax deductible

Organized by Frisco Humane Society

Minnie's story
We received an email from a gentleman who's daughter had taken her senior Dachshund to the shelter - she was moving and decided their dog couldn't go with them - her father was asking for help from rescue groups. Frisco Humane responded to the emails for help and took Minnie into one of our foster homes.

Minnie's foster mom took her to the vet the day after she rescued her since she had blood in her urine and couldn't control her bladder - this poor dog is full of stones in her bladder, some so large you can physically feel them! How painful!! Her foster mom has to keep a diaper on her because she has no control over her bladder because of the large number of stones. Her teeth are just nasty (severe). Her bladder and dental surgery is scheduled for April 17th which is the first available date our wonderful vet could get her in.

Fortunately and amazingly given her general health, Minnie tested negative for heartworms.

We would appreciate any donations, large or small, towards Minnie's vet care. She is a very sweet dog who deserves a break in her senior years.

We are an all-volunteer group, our adoption fees rarely cover our vetting costs and we rely on donations to keep our special needs funds available for situations such as this.

All donations towards Minnie's vet care are tax-deductable to the extent allowed by the law.

Thank you for your help. We will update after Minnie's surgery.
